Plane Crashes In Dodge County, Georgia
EASTMAN, GA- Authorities say a plane has crashed in Dodge County.
Kathleen Bergen with the Federal Aviation Administration says the plane left a private airfield about 8 a.m. Monday and crashed into trees. She said the plane was either an ultralight or a light sport aircraft.
Bergen said one person was on board but officials are unsure whether that person was injured. She said damage in the crash is “substantial.”
Officials from the Dodge County Sheriff’s office didn’t immediately return a call from the AP.
Dodge County is south of Macon.
