Magnitude 2.4 earthquake detected in Washington County

DAVISBORO, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The U.S. Geological Survey website shows that a 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck Middle Georgia on Thursday, March 5, 2020, just before 4 pm. The quakes center was located just a few miles southwest of Davisboro, Georgia located in Washington County. The depth was recorded at over six miles below the ground.
