Macon Strike Team Makes Multiple Arrests

The Macon Police Strike Team was busy this weekend on detail, making multiple arrests around the city.

Police heard gunshots behind the former Miller Middle School where they found 19-year-old Shavez C. Flewellen.  The suspect threw a loaded gun to the ground in front of police.  He’s charged with Discharging a Firearm and Criminal Trespass.

In a separate incident, the Strike Team arrested 28-year-old convicted felon, Keenan Sharrod Middleton.  Police found a pistol on Sharrod during a traffic stop on Napier Avenue.

In addition, six people were charged with possession of marijuana and two people were arrested on bench warrants from parole violations during the 10 hour detail.
