Updates to Bibb Rec Centers to Focus on ‘Wellness’

The focus for Bibb County Recreation Centers is shifting from young kids to grown ups.
Chairman Sam Hart says commissioners want to turn them into “wellness” centers, which he says will help attract more adults.

Starting in July, the county will take control over the centers. Macon and Bibb County  leaders came to the agreement back in May, however it is still contingent on the November SPLOST passing; in the meantime county leaders have a few ideas on how to improve the centers.
