Macon City Council Hears Animal Control Audit Report

Questions remain about the $18-thousand missing from Macon‘s Animal Control department.

Monday night Macon City Council’s appropriations committee received an audit report that found a number of inconsistencies.

 The report showed flaws in the process of documenting when animals are adopted. And because of poor record keeping, the money may never be found.
