Benefit Concert Announced for Cox Capitol Theatre

A woman who’s been named one of America’s best songwriters, is bringing that talent to Middle Georgia. Folk musician Lucinda williams is coming to the Cox Capitol Theatre, to help raise money for the venue, and the Capricorn Recording Studios Initiative.

The announcement of the event was at the theatre in Downtown Macon this morning. The money raised will help Newtown Macon restore the historic Capricorn Recording Studios building. Possible plans include a museum, recording studios, living space, and more!
