Sunshine returns to Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all!! This morning we are starting out with no rain on radar and temperatures in the 50s. For today we will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 50s. Today is a great day for any out door plans. The next rain chance will come Friday into Saturday. This could bring the chance for a few storms, some of which could be severe. Best timing for the worst of the weather seems to be sometime between 12pm and 5pm on Saturday. Not a great day for any festivals around the area. Another inch to three inches of rain is possible Friday into Saturday. We could be dealing with some river flooding as we enter the weekend as we already have a river flood warning for Bibb. There is a flood watch for most of middle Georgia. Sunday  will be a good day in the 60s. Next week we will be sunny in the 60s on Monday. We will also return to the 70s on Tuesday with much drier conditions expected.
