Traffic stop leads to drug bust in Washington County
According to the sheriff's office, deputies stopped Darius Rashad Stephens on Highway 68 North in Tennille.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a Georgia State Patrol Trooper with a traffic stop on Highway 68 North, Tennille, according to Sheriff Joel Cochran.
32-year-old Darius Rashad Stephens of Tennille was arrested Monday evening on traffic offenses.
Law enforcement reported finding a firearm, cocaine and marijuana during a subsequent inventory of the vehicle.
Stephens was charged with driving under the influence, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of crime, according to Sheriff Cochran.
