David Ragan Hopes To Continue Success This Weekend At Charlotte

Unadilla’s David Ragan has a strong track record at the 1.5-mile tracks on the NASCAR circuit and he looks to continue that success this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Last weekend in the Sprint Showdown at Charlotte, Ragan sat on the pole and won his 40-lap race to advance to the Sprint All-Star Race.  Ragan went on to finish eighth in the All-Star Race, while his Roush-Fenway teammate Carl Edwards won the million-dollar shootout.

Ragan and crew chief Drew Blickensderfer learned valuable information from running both the Showdown and All-Star event that they look to carry over into the longest race of the year this Sunday, the Coca-Cola 600.

Ragan is taking the same car to Charlotte that he earned his first Cup series pole with in Texas and went on to earn a top-10 finish.
