State attorneys general join fight against robocalls
The nation’s state attorneys general say the 12 biggest telecom companies have agreed to fight robocalls by deploying new call blocking technology, tracing robocalls to their source to prosecute callers, and using screening technology to determine if a number is being “spoofed” to look like another number.
