Man Drowns Trying To Save 3 Children At Lake Tobesofkee

A drowning at Lake Tobesofkee leaves one man dead. Emergency crews responded to a drowning that happened  Saturday Evening. 

Witnesses say, 24 year old Michael Jones of Macon was swimming with his family in the lake. Three children began to yell for help and with the aid of several others, Jones went to help the children. 

 Jones later went under water and drowned. All of the children were rescued and treated by paramedics. This incident is under investigation.
