Bibb deputy fired for possible involvement in racketeering

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A Bibb County deputy accused of being involved in a racketeering scheme was fired on July 15th.

Lieutenant Sean Defoe with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Rahim McCarley was terminated after a state investigation.  

Carly was arrested by the Georgia Department of Revenue prior to his termination.
