Middle Georgia Residents Bow Their Heads for the National Day of Prayer

The city of Macon celebrated the 60th annual National Day of Prayer at City Hall, but the tradition dates back further than the nation’s oldest document.

“I came to support our constitution,” says Luke Daniel.

He was among the youngest observers at city hall. People of all ages agreed that today was about praying for Macon.

“There’s a group of people who still believe in prayer and I think that that’s what our city needs,” says Hershel Sizemore.
