Middle Georgia Ambulance Offers Tips for Summer Heat
Middle Georgia Ambulance wants you to stay safe this summer, and take advantage of C.P.R. training classes.
Chuck Asbell of M.G.A., says people are at an increased risk during the summer for injuries, because they spend more time outside and around swimming pools.
Today, Asbell offered tips to be careful in the sun by always wearing sunscreen, and to only swim with a friend or someone there to watch you.
Asbell also says, being C.P.R. certified is one of the easiest ways to help prevent serious injury, or even death.
“We urge people to learn C.P.R. for…heart attacks, strokes, heat related injuries, and drownings. There are so many possibilities, there’s so many things that could happen,” Asbell explains.
M.G.A. offers C.P.R. training on the third Saturday of each month at North Macon Park.
