Hawkinsville man found guilty of attempt to commit child molestation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County jury found a Hawkinsville man guilty on Wednesday for the intent to have sex with an underaged girl.

Jurors convicted 54-year-old David Martin Conatser of the following:

• One count of criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation
• One count of computer pornography and child exploitation

The judge sentenced him to 30 years. Conatser must serve the first 15 years in prison.
