Macon Marriott and Centreplex See Economic Progress

The economic status of the MaconMarriottCityCenter and Centreplex is looking up.

General Manager, David McCartney, briefed Macon City Council on the progress of the center Tuesday night.

Money transferred from the city’s general fund to support the complex has gone down from 1.5 million dollars in 2009 to around 600-thousand dollars so far this year.
