Bibb Deputies Look for Armed Purse Snatcher

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the look out for the suspects who held a woman at gunpoint and stole her purse Tuesday.  The incident happened in the parking lot of the Macon Monogramming store on Forsyth Road, just after 10pm.   

The victim told police she was driving around trying to get her child to fall asleep when she got out of her vehicle to look at the Macon Monogramming sign. That’s when two males approached her with a gun. Apparently, one of the suspects tried to remove the child and car seat in an attempt to steal the vehicle. When the suspect was unsuccessful, he gave up, grabbed the victim’s purse, and then both suspects ran off.
