Middle Georgia Parents Send Kids to Virtual Schools

Virtual learning is a new concept giving parents alternatives to traditional schools, and is a big hit around Middle Georgia, especially for one family.

5th grader, Shelly Pruitt, has a tough time mastering math. “I’m good at english, reading, social studies, and sciences. I’m good at all the others just not math,” says Shelly.

It’s a challenge that’s about to change the way she studies. Her mom, Amanda Pruitt says, “I’d like to have more control in her education and allows her more or less time on subjects,” which means next year, Shelly will spend 6th grade in a very different online classroom.
