Enjoy a few dry days before rain moves back into Middle Georgia

Good evening,
We saw a nice warm day across Middle Georgia, with some areas getting into the 70’s, but warm days will be making an exit through the week.

Sunny skies remain through Tuesday with highs making it back into the 60’s. High pressure to our north will continue to bring dry air into Middle Georgia, but changes are on the way by Wednesday night.

Overnight Wednesday and into early Thursday morning, heavy rain will move into Middle Georgia bringing the threat of more flooding to Middle Georgia. We still need to monitor for the threat of thunderstorms through the week.

By Friday the low will have passed the area, but more wrap around moisture is possible through the day on Friday. Winter weather is not expected in Middle Georgia with the passing of the low and front, mainly expect a big drop in temperatures through the weekend.
