Rain returns to Middle Georgia to end the week

Good evening,
We finally made it back into the 60’s today, but as the temperatures are on the rise, rain chances are on the rise as well.

Rain shouldn’t move in until later tomorrow, so expect dry conditions with mostly cloudy skies.

Overnight Thursday, our rain chances start to increase and temperatures will stay mainly in the 50’s. Heavy rain will continue through much of Friday.

Many of us will likely see 1/2-1″ of rainfall, but some areas could see over 2″. There is a possibility that we could see some areas of flooding through Saturday, mainly from the heavy rain that we saw last weekend.

Middle Georgia begins to dry out through much of next week. Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast and temperatures should be pretty close to normal through at least the middle of the week.
