Truck driver cited in school bus crash in Macon

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – A driver is taken to the hospital after his truck is hit by a school bus.

The crash happened around 2:45 Friday evening on Eisenhower Parkway and Romeiser Drive, near Interstate 475.

Sgt. Linda Howard with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a truck turned in front of the school bus. Two students were on the bus at the time, but they were not injured.

The truck driver was cited for failure to yield.
