Body Found In Macon Apartment

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says someone found a body inside an apartment around 4:30 Thursday afternoon.

Jones identified the body as 62-year-old Willie Holmes.

Holmes lived in the Park Slope Apartments on Chambers Road. Jones says Holmes had been dead for about two weeks.

Jones says any of Holmes relatives can call the Coroner’s Office at 621-6314.
