Navicent Health Welcomes Delegation From Kurobe, Japan

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Navicent Health welcomed a delegation from Kurobe City Hospital in Kurobe, Japan, Wednesday.

Kurobe is a sister city of Macon-Bibb County.

Both Navicent Health and Kurobe Municipal Hospital have participated in a sister hospital exchange program for 15 years. Each year, one hospital sends clinicians and physicians to visit the other in an effort to share best practices, learn innovative techniques and build relations between the two sister cities.

The Japanese delegation will spend four weeks in Macon-Bibb County, working closely with Navicent Health and Mercer University School of Medicine.
