Keep Warner Robins Beautiful Honors Its Volunteers
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Keep Warner Robins Beautiful took time to honor and thank its volunteers with a luncheon Wednesday afternoon.
This year the organization honored 986 volunteers who contributed more than 1,400 community service hours. Those volunteers also helped removed more than 19,000 pounds of litter. And the volunteers saved the city more than $18,000.
Honors included the Beautification Award of Excellence, Business Awards of Merit, Community Impact Awards, Certificates of Appreciation and Commissioner of the Year Award.
41NBC also received a Media Award of Merit.
