October starting out hot and mostly dry

Good evening,
The heat was not nearly as bad today as it was last week, but expect more 90’s on the way by the end of the week.

Quick recap of September shows that every day of the month, we were above average. We even had a few record high temps during the month. Luckily we are leaving September behind, but not all of the heat that came with it.

Tuesday we will see a few showers possibly make it into our far southern and eastern counties. Not anticipating any severe storms with these pop ups, but most of us should continue to see hot and dry conditions.

The dry weather really takes over as we head through the middle and end of the week. High pressure sets up just to our east and will keep much of the area dry and also warm.

The end of the week once again brings 90’s across Middle Georgia and plenty of sunshine, but should be great weather for football Friday when temperatures drop into the 60’s overnight.
