Big Brothers, Big Sisters Gets New Brand and New Grant

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Heart of Georgia is rebranding.

The mentoring organization says the new brand will provide a modern look with the goal of recruiting more diverse volunteers.

Monday’s reveal is part of a nationwide effort to help the organization stand out.

The group says there is an urgent need for the adults in the community to step up and defend the potential of every child.

BBBS of the Heart of Georgia also received a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and delinquency prevention.

The money will help the organization serve children who are referred by the Juvenile Justice System.
