Mother and son likely died naturally inside Macon home, coroner says
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – UPDATE (4:04 PM): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is trying to determine if foul play was involved in the deaths of a mother and son who’s bodies were found inside a south Macon home Tuesday.
Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says 50-year-old Frank Roberts and 65-year-old Shirley Haynes likely died naturally and the air conditioning inside their Evergreen Dr. had been turned off for a few days.
The sheriff’s office says the two bodies were found by a family member just before 3:15 p.m.
Jones is encouraging the public to check on neighbors, especially during the summer heat.

The two bodies were found at 3242 Evergreen Drive, according to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones.
