Red Flag Warning (Severe)

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Red
Flag Warning for low relative humidity and gusty winds, which is
in effect from 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* Affected Area...South-Central Georgia including Crisp, Wilcox,
Dodge, Telfair, and Wheeler Counties.

* Timing...Between 11 AM and 8 PM today.

* Winds...East-Northeast at 12 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Relative Humidity...22 to 25 percent.

* Temperatures...66 to 76 degrees.

* Impacts...With elevated winds and low relative humidities,
critical fire weather conditions are possible. Outdoor burning
is strongly discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring...or will occur within 24 hours.

Please refer to the local burn permitting authorities on whether
you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside...use extreme
caution.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of the Red Flag Warning.

east-northeast at 8 to 12 MPH with wind gusts up to 20 MPH.
