96 pounds of marijuana found in Monroe County traffic stop

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies made a drug bust during a traffic stop on I-75.

According to a news release, deputies pulled over 33-year-old Anthony Sean Howard of Jacksonville, Florida for a window tint violation and found out he was driving on a suspended license.

After searching Howard’s SUV, they found two trash bags containing multiple bricks of a leafy substance.

Test determined the substance was marijuana.

Howard was arrested and charged with improper lane change, driving on a suspended/revoke license and felony trafficking of marijuana.
