9 Schools in Bibb County Named Among Lowest Performing in Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT/AP) – 9 schools in Bibb County and a total of 16 schools in the 41NBC coverage area are among the lowest performing schools in the state.

The Georgia Department of Education released it’s priority list this week, as part of the state’s waiver from the federal No Child Left Behind law.

To make the list, schools either perform poorly on state tests or have low graduation rates.
