Macon residents protest recent police shootings

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Some Macon residents are speaking out about the recent police shootings that have happened across the nation.

The small group was at Macon City Hall, holding signs with the hash tag “black lives matter.”

Protestor Tiara Grace tells 41NBC, “This is a time for our generation to stand up and to make a name for ourselves.”

They plan to continue the protest Saturday.
