Strong to severe storms sweep into Middle Georgia overnight

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – While we could see strong storms this afternoon, the major line of storms arrives overnight with an approaching cold front. A nasty squall line will push through the Peach State along with that front.

Let’s talk about the timing: this afternoon, isolated storms will pop up and move from south to north throughout Georgia. There’s a chance for severe weather, with gusty winds being the primary threat. Otherwise, expect your usual showers and storms. High of 75.

This evening, overcast with a few showers and storms possible.
