5 arrested, accused of attempted contraband drops at Washington State Prison

The attempts happened on Saturday June 14, and Sunday June 15.

DAVISBORO, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A total of five suspects are in custody after the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says it made arrests in two contraband drops.

Sheriff Joel Cochran says deputies were made aware of a man on prison grounds on June 14, around 2:30 a.m. When deputies responded to the area, they found the man walking in a driveway next to the field where he was last seen.
Deputies say he claimed he did not know where he was, and was walking to figure it out. When asked about the backpack, he stated he had found it while walking and decided to take it.
20-year-old Jabriuos Seals of Sandersville, was arrested and charged with the following:
  • 4 Counts Items Prohibited by the Warden (Felony)
  • 2 Counts Possession with Intent to Distribute (Felony)
  • 1 Count Trading with Inmates (Felony)
The Sheriff says then on June 15, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 24 right outside of Davisboro for a traffic violation around 11:30 p.m.
During the stop, Sheriff Cochran says the deputy discovered evidence of a prison drop. After further investigation four people in the vehicle were arrested after being found with more contraband.
Those arrested and charged are 24-year-old Jordan Person, 20-year-old Kasaevioun Little, 20-year-old Tyron Jones, and 25-year-old Kyndra Lundy, all from Macon. They are charged with the following:
  • 1 count Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 1 Drug (felony)
  • 1 count Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 2 Drug (felony)
  • 4 counts Items Prohibited by the Warden (felony)
  • 1 count Trading with Inmates (felony)
Both cases are ongoing, and more charges are possible.
