4th Annual Taco Week in Forsyth aims to promote local businesses

Taco Week will feature local restaurants from Forsyth that submit a taco style dish into the competition.

Forsyth, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is set to host the 4th Annual Taco Week. Taco Week will be April 26 through May 4 in Forsyth.

Rebecca Stone, President and CEO of Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, says this event will have three unique categories. The categories will be best entrée, best dessert and best margarita.

Taco Week will feature local restaurants from Forsyth that submit a taco style dish into the competition. Once submitted, the dishes will be judged by the public.

Community members can use a “Taco Passport” to get stamps from local restaurants. Individuals can submit their passport for prizes and to vote on their favorite dish.
