478 Music Awards unite community, celebrate local talent

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 4th annual 478 Music Awards are set for this weekend in Macon and are expected to bring the community together in celebration of local talent.

The event will be held Sunday, October 5, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Macon.

Organizers BP and Snap Hughes say the event will feature live performances, award presentations and recognition of local artists.

The 478 Music Awards have grown since their debut four years ago, becoming a showcase for musicians from across Middle Georgia.
