478 Music Awards to honor local musicians

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 3rd Annual 478 Music Awards are a celebration of entertainment and culture around Middle Georgia.

The event is October 6 at Macon Banquet, located at 3720 Bloomfield Village Drive. The event is from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Co-founder of the 478 Music Awards, Snap, says this event is a time for local artists to come together and support local talent.

Snap encourages attendees to support Middle Georgia designers and clothing brands when dressing for the event. Snap says the dress code is “wear whatever you want”.

Co-founder of the 478 Music Awards, BP, says there will be live performances, special guest appearances, and awards.

This year’s Lifetime Achievement recipients are Soopa Dave, Dollyhood Records and Meek Cantrell.
