43 Years Of Gifts, Beckham’s Used Car Dealership Still Giving Strong

They’ve been doing it for 42 years already, so why wouldn’t Beckham’s Used Car Dealership in Milledgeville give away presents again?

More than 100 bags full of toys and clothes were given out by the Beckham family and staff at their dealership, to children who might now otherwise have the chance to open any gifts this year. 

Santa even stopped in to have the kids tell him what they wanted this year.

After talking with Santa, the kids were given a bag full of items like coats, hats, and various toys.

“We want to make sure they have stuff they really need,” Jim Fain of Beckham’s Used Car Dealership explains. “Some things to make sure the families aren’t later on, after Christmas is over, struggling to come up with to keep them warm this winter.”

All of the gifts were paid for out of owner Doyle Beckham’s own pocket.

In a news release, Beckham said,

‘”I, and we, are very blessed to be able to do this again. I do this because I want to help anyway I can to a community that has given so much to me and my family for many years.”‘
