Vendors attend 41NBC’s Step Toward Healthy Living Expo

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Dozens of booths filled Houston County’s Galleria Mall Saturday for 41NBC’s first healthy living expo.

The Step Toward Healthy Living Expo was designed to bring vendors from across Middle Georgia into one location so people could take advantage of the expert’s free tips.

People learned how they can lead a healthier lifestyle through exercise, doctor’s visits and proper diet.

“A lot of men just don’t like going to the doctor or they’re working all day,” said Sally Velasquez, a nurse practitioner. “So this is a great opportunity, it’s a casual setting, not stressful so maybe not the white coat syndrome.”

Vendors also gave information about health insurance policies. There were free blood pressure screenings as well.
