411 Sportsworld Foundation to host walk, run honoring veterans

Tyrone Jones Jr. says this event is aimed at supporting our local veterans and raising awareness.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 411 Sportsworld Foundation and Howard High School Cross Country Team are hosting a walk and run to honor veterans.

The event is April 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 6400 Forsyth Road in Macon.

Event organizer Tyrone Jones Jr. says this event is aimed at supporting our local veterans and raising awareness.

Veteran Keith Rhodes says there will be assistance offered for veterans in need. Rhodes says he looks forward to helping veterans.

General registration is a $15 donation and vender registration is a $25 donation.
