41 NBC Mourns the Passing of General Sales Manager

Stephen Wilkerson, 54, died this weekend in Macon, GA. He was found by police Saturday night, November 5th in his apartment. The coroner stated Steve died of a heart attack.

Derek Brown, 41 NBC General Manager, said in a statement: “It is a sad day for everyone here at 41 NBC. Steve was an incredible sales manager and friend. I can’t express adequately his contribution to this TV station and all other stations he has worked for. His passion, work ethic, drive, personality and success made him known, not only in Macon, but within the TV industry. More importantly, Steve was a great friend that will be sorely missed. He was a large part of the 41 NBC family and his presence will be greatly missed by all of us. I feel as though I have lost a brother today. I will miss him everyday and think of him every time I tee it up”
