4 Arrested for Fighting at Westside High in Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Four Bibb County students were arrested on September 11th, after two different altercations broke out at Westside High School.

According to a news release from the Bibb County School District, around 8:30 am yesterday a 16-year-old male student began hitting another 16-year-old male student in the face. The two were completing assignments during the time of the altercation. The male student who started the fight was charged with simple battery and disrupting a public school.

In a separate incident, just before noon on Tuesday, a 15-year-old male and a 14-year female student begin arguing in class. They continued the argument in the hallway, and two other male students, ages 17 and 18, got involved in that fight.

The two older students were charged with affray and disrupting a public school. The 16-year-old female student refused to settle down in the office, and was charged with disrupting a public school.

All the students involved in these incidents were suspended.
