“If you choose to distribute poison in Houston County, whether on our streets, in our neighborhoods, or under the disguise of operating a legitimate business, you can expect the Houston County Sheriff’s Office to identify you, thoroughly investigate your activities, and pursue every appropriate criminal charge against you. I have seen firsthand the devastating effects illegal drugs have on individuals, families, and our community. Lives are being destroyed, families are being torn apart, and innocent people are suffering because of the actions of those who profit from this poison. As Sheriff, I have a responsibility to protect the citizens of Houston County, and I take that responsibility very seriously. We will remain relentless in our efforts to identify those responsible and bring them to justice. For those struggling with addiction, there is hope, and I believe in second chances. But for those who knowingly profit from the addiction and suffering of others, understand this: We will not tolerate your criminal activities in Houston County.”
