MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Students with disabilities across Middle Georgia will have an opportunity to explore career readiness, community resources and motivational guidance at the upcoming 3P Transition Conference later this month.

The event is scheduled for March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Georgia Technical College, Building H, located at 3300 Macon Tech Drive in Macon.

Organizers say the conference is designed for students with disabilities ages 14 to 21 and aims to help them prepare for life after school. The theme of this year’s conference is “Nothing but Net: Skills for Life.” Organizers say the theme focuses on helping students build confidence and practical skills needed for employment and independence.

Attendees will participate in several activities, including motivational speaking sessions, career coaching breakout sessions, a team spirit rally, and opportunities to meet local vendors and community resource providers. Lunch and snacks will also be provided during the event.
