38th annual Forsythia Festival kicks off this weekend

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 38th annual Forsythia Festival is set for this weekend in Forsyth.

  • March 7: Forsythia Festival Golf Tournament
    • There will be a lunch at noon and shotgun starts at 1 p.m. It costs $240 per team.
  • March 7: Country & Southern Soul Kick-Off Concert
    • The event will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the courthouse lawn featuring Bella Dunn and Shantavia Nichole. The event is free and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
  • March 8: Boy Scouts Pancake Breakfast
    • The event will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Forsyth Methodist Church. The cost is $8 per person, proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 51.
  • March 8: Arts & Craft Fair
    • The event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Forsyth. There will be a Kid’s Corner ($15) and live entertainment.
  • March 8: Forsythia Tailgate Toss
    • The event will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the old Persons Bank parking lot.
  • March 9: Arts & Crafts Fair
    • The event will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Forsyth. There will be a Kid’s Corner ($15) and live entertainment.
