Sunshine returns Friday
Well clouds were hanging around Middle Georgia all day and kept it cold.
Now, skies are finally clearing, in just enough time to cool us down into the 20’s by tomorrow morning.
We will manage to warm into the 50’s tomorrow, and probably more importantly sunshine returns to the area.
Tomorrow night will be cold once again, so if you are headed to the semifinal playoff game, be sure to bundle up.
Temperatures will return to around normal as we head through the rest of the weekend.
By Saturday night our next low pressure system will approach, bringing a chance for scattered showers overnight and through the day Sunday.
Not expecting thunderstorms or severe weather, but it could be a bit rainy on Sunday.
At least it will be warmer than normal.
Showers should be moving by Monday morning and temps will be warming for the first part of the week.
By Christmas Eve another system will be moving into Middle Georgia.
This will bring some rain to the area, but more importantly, it will usher in a BIG cooldown.
Christmas Day we could see highs in the mid 40’s and lows dropping to the 20’s and 30’s.
It is still over a week away, but most models seem to agree on that Christmas cool down.
