Baldwin County Schools close Thursday because of water main break

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — All Baldwin County public schools are closed Thursday because of a major water main break in Milledgeville.

According to an email from the school district, the break happened in the area of Blandy Road. The break effects a feeder line that provides water to most of the district’s schools.

Students will be learning remotely Thursday and staff will be working from home.

The email went on to say that all schools should be open on Friday, December 18th, unless conditions from the water main break make it unsafe to do so.
