Forsyth man dies in single car crash in Monroe County
MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Forsyth man is dead after crashing his car early Sunday morning.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Jeston Evans was traveling on Highway 42 near Weldon Road just after midnight. Evans failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road. He hit a wooden fence and one of the posts went through his windshield and hit him. His car traveled a little further and then hit a tree.
Evans was pronounced dead at the scene by Monroe County EMS.
