Medical Monday – Trauma Awareness Month

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – According to the National Trauma Institute, trauma is the number one cause of death from the ages of 1 to 46. May is Trauma Awareness Month.

Dr. Dennis Ashley, the chair of surgery and trauma at Medical Center Navicent Health, visited Daybreak to talk about the signs of trauma and where trauma victims can go in Middle Georgia.
