Man and woman shot at restaurant in Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – A man and woman are in the hospital after Milledgeville Police say they were shot at a restaurant early Saturday morning.

According to Felicia Cummings with the Milledgeville Police Department, the shooting happened around 1:15 Saturday morning at Velvet Elvis Grille and Tap on West Hancock Street. Officers found a man and a woman who were both shot. They were taken to Medical Center Navicent Health in Milledgeville and in Macon for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is on going.
