31-year-old man hospitalized after shooting in Macon
The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 10:54 a.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man injured Monday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the shooting occurred near the intersection of Montpelier and Brentwood avenues. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 10:54 a.m.
Patrol deputies responded to the scene and found a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital. According to medical staff, the man is in stable condition.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating what led to the shooting.
